Stone cold...

19" Necklace with lots to stones to feel cool against your skin.  It has rectangular Jaspers, round Brecciated Jaspers, and oval Agates.
SOLD - $27

Earthy Bracelet

As I said before, I have a lot of pearls (faux and genuine), and recently bought a magazine on making jewelry with pearls.  Can you believe that?  A magazine dedicated to making pearl jewelry!!  But of all the different publications of jewelry making magazines I've bought (only about 5), this magazine has been the most inspirational for me.

This 8" bracelet is a cluster style with fresh water pearls, coffee quartz, tiger eye, turquoise dyed howlites (all these are semi-precious) along with a some faux pearls (the small round reddish/brown colored beads).  I don't know what it is about browns and blues together that I like so much, it's just so peaceful and earthy to me.
SOLD - $22

Love Nature

This 16" necklace makes me think "Love Nature" b/c the pendant looks like a leaf with a heart shaped knot at the top.  There is a garnet dangling in the center of the "leaf".
SOLD - $13

Mixed chain with faux pearls

42" Necklace with mixed chain, 2 shades of faux lavender (dark lav. and light silvery lav.) pearls and faceted and metallic crystal accent beads. The lavender color is very subtle, and looks more like gunmetal (dark lav.) and silver (light lav.). This can be doubled up at various lengths to achieve a multitude of different looks.
SOLD - $15

Faux Pearl Cluster Hoops

It's a good thing that pearls are the "it" item right now, b/c I have lots of them to play around with.  These faux pearl clusters on 3/4" hoops are 1.75" long and have a trio of pearl colors:  champagne, gold, and silver.
SOLD - $6

Earrings, Earrings, Earrings!!!

I LOVE earrings, and wish I could wear them BUT my ears were pierced unevenly or maybe my lobes are different sizes, so earrings look terribly uneven when I wear them.  I always had to adjust the hooks to make the earrings look more even.

Faceted red and smokey blue beads on hoops, they measure 1 5/8" from top of hooks.
SOLD - $5

Lilac swirl beads hang from 2 faceted lilac beads. These earrings measure 2 1/8" from top of hooks.
SOLD -  $5

Red Asian dangle earrings, they measure 2 5/8" from top of hooks. These beads remind me of the silk fabrics that kimonos are made with.
SOLD - $6

Long and lean

Being the practical one that I am, I like things that have multiple ways of being worn.  This 38" necklace with smokey glass beads can do just that, it can be worn long as a single strand, or doubled up for a shorter option.  I have included pics of it both long and doubled up.  The picture with it doubled up also shows the matching earrings (they are 2" long).
SOLD - $20 for the necklace and earring set.

Turquoise like necklace

This 19" necklace has the look of turquoise, but those stones are actually turquoise dyed howlites (a semi-precious stone) along with brecciated jasper (also a semi-precious stone).  I have it pictured just slightly shorter than 19".
SOLD - $25

Simply Amazonite!

This 19" necklace is adorned with Amazonite cubes and an Amazonite pillow pendant. Because it has both black and brown tones in it, it can be worn with either color of the wardrobe.

2 in 1...

This 19" necklace contains 2 different kinds of Jasper, Dendritic Jasper and Brecciated Jasper.  Both are semi-precious stones.  Jasper is a large family of stones, and so they have many varieties in how they look.  The necklace (as with all my necklaces) are adjustable in length.
SOLD - $23

Just Peachy...

This 17" necklace is adorned with peach colored fresh water pearls, and a peach colored Magnesite (semi-precious) center stone.  It is hard to see the color and detail of the magnesite b/c of the glare on the smooth surface, but it is similar to the color of the peach fresh water pearls, just slightly lighter with a deeper peach vein pattern through the stone.
SOLD - $16

Gosh garnet, here I go again...

Oh, for the love of Garnets!!  I love these stones, they have such a deep rich color.  These chandelier style hoops have dangling garnets on them that make a nice contrast to the light colored metal.
SOLD - $12

Waves on the shoreline

I bought these pretty Aqua Terra Jasper stones and love them.  They are very pretty stones, they remind me of the ocean waves  settling on the shoreline (the area where we like to dip our feet in the water and watch the water wash away our footprints).  The top beads are Coffee Quartz.  The earrings measure 2" from top of hooks to bottom of earrings.

My donation to Alex's school

Alex's school is hosting their annual Spring Fling where they auction off themed baskets filled with items donated by the parents of the kids who attend the school.  Alex's class's theme basket is "The Real Man", so we'll get some things from Mary Kay's men's line (after shave, etc.).  Since I am wanting to take advantage of the opportunity to showcase some of my jewelry creations, I thought I would make a few things for the auction as well.  My problem was that most men don't wear the kind of jewelry I make, so one of my items is actually for another class.  I made a set of one-of-a-kind wine glass charms, which are made with lampwork glass beads and semi-precious stones of mother of pearl, green aventurine, amethyst and carnelian (pictured from left to right below).
$15 to make something similar with semi-precious stones.

Here is the necklace and earring set I made for the raffle portion of the Spring Fling.  It is an 18" necklace made with Fresh Water Pearls and Swarovski Crystals.
$20 to make something similar.

Peaches & Cream

I love the look of long necklaces, but I also like versatility (yes, that is the practical side of me).  This 41" long necklace has peachy pink and gold colored faux pearls, and is a ton of fun to have in your jewelry collection.  This necklace has endless looks, can be worn long as is, or doubled up and pinned with a brooch on the side/back or tied with a ribbon on side/back (I will provide a sheer gold ribbon). B/c you can double this up in different places (even length strands, varied length strands), you can accomplish many different looks with the same necklace. The 2nd picture is a close up of the beads, so you can see the colors.
SOLD - $15

Here is a close up of the necklace so you can see the color of the faux pearls.

Same acrylic beads, different look...

I love the color aquamarine for spring, so much that I made some more earrings using the same acrylic aquamarine puff coin beads I made an earlier pair of earrings from (see second picture below).  It is amazing how one thing can change the look of something so much!  I want to make a necklace using these aquamarine acrylic beads, but I haven't come up with a design I like yet.
SOLD - $5

Here is the earlier pair I made.

To Cloisonne, or not to cloisonne...

In honor of Spring, I made these pretty cloisonne earrings.  The cloisonnes are the middle beads, and are painted flowers with a gold outline.  The other two beads are Green Aventurine (a semi-precious stone) and Garnet (a semi-precious stone).  The earrings are 1 and 5/8th inches in length from the top of the hooks.  The hooks and pins used have a 14kt gold overlay.
SOLD - CLEARANCE $12, was $18

Here is a close-up of the cloisonne.

Granny get your gun... again.

I made a gun metal chain necklace earlier, and really like the gun metal color/look with the beads in this necklace.  This 22" gun metal chain necklace has 5 Blue Magnesite stones and 4 natural garnet nuggets. It is a beautiful spring / summer weather piece.
