Summer is almost here!!

I anticipation of summer, I reincarnated some earrings.

I call these 3.5" long earrings, the "hemisphere earrings" made with reclaimed blue and purple faux pearls and reclaimed silver grid ball. The grid ball reminds me of the globe's grid lines of the hemispheres.

It's Hammer Time!!

For those of you who listened to hit music back in the 90's, this is not a flash back to MC Hammer or any of the like.  Rather, the hammer is the effect on the dome rings in these earrings.  They are 2" long, and have red Druk beads, which are glass beads from the Czech Republic.

A needle in a haystack

You know that old saying "A needle in a haystack"?  While it's metaphorical meaning may not be the same, it's physical component is the nearly same.  The part that holds the beads together is called a pin (that's like a needle, right?), so the pin (needle) is pushed through the bead whose markings resemble that of a haystack (criss cross sticks).
SOLD - $5

Honeycomb delicious

Wasn't there a commercial back in the 70's or 80's for the cereal Honeycomb, where they said "it's honeycomb delicious!"?  Well, incidentally, that phrase describes these earrings that are made with honeycomb beads and brecciated jasper (semi-precious) suspended from twisted rope rings.
SOLD - $7

Trying something new...

A friend of mine asked me a while back whether I use stretch cords, and at the time I told her I didn't b/c they didn't seem very durable.  Apparently I have been living in the dark ages b/c a lot of improvements have been made to the durability of the stretch cords, and they are now made super strong and fray free!  What a concept!

So, to kick off the new stretch cord purchase I made, here is my first stretch cord bracelet.  It is made with honey colored acrylic beads, and b/c it is monotone neutral color, it can be worn with a lot of things in your wardrobe.
SOLD - CLEARANCE $2, was $12

The Russian Tea Room

These 1.75" earrings are made with two different kinds of Amazonite (semi-precious).  The large puff coins are Russian Amazonites and are about the size of a nickle.  The small donuts are the traditional Amazonites that have a smoother pattern.  The donuts are naturally shaped so they have their own unique shape.  The Amazonites are paired with antiqued pewter accents.  The earrings have a versatile look, from the playground straight to the Russian Tea Room.

Amazing Garnets

If you've seen my earlier pieces, you will know I am fond of the amazonite stones, for the color and the serenity it brings me.  I will always love this stone, it has so many different looks and is thus so versatile.  These 1.5" dangle earrings are made with garnets, amazonite donut stones (both semi-precious) and silver accents.  (note: the earring on the right looks crooked only b/c it is sitting on a bit of a sloped surface)
SOLD - CLEARANCE $7, was $10

There's a [dragon]fly in my soup!!

My cousin wanted a necklace using the same design as my dragonfly earrings that she could wear as a necklace layer, so here is her necklace that I made with an adjustable length (from 17" to 20") so that it gives her a lot of options for layering with other necklaces or wearing solo.  The necklace has a dragonfly suspended from a wood ring, with a turquoise dyed howlite in the center.

This is the 17" length and it sits just below the collar bone.  The pic beneath this pic is the 20" length and sits about 3 and a half inches below the collar bone.
SOLD - $15 (To keep this as a one of a kind, I won't remake this exact design, but I can do something similar).

Sterling Silver Trio

Here is a pair of great everyday, wear with anything hoop earrings with a trio of sterling silver beads.

Here comes the pink...

Mixed Chain Necklace

I've gotten a couple request for mixed chain necklaces with no beads, this is one of the two I've done.  As with all my pieces, everything is one of a kind, so while I can't replicate this necklace exactly, I can make something similar for about the same price.
$15 - SOLD

Here's a close-up of the necklace so you can see the detail in the chain.
